Christmas dolphin shows – a musical fairy tale "Beauty and the Beast"

The Lithuanian Sea Museum has prepared a surprise for this Christmas – starting from the 17th of December, the dolphinarium will host Christmas dolphin shows – come and see a never-before-seen version of Beauty and the Beast!

The fairy tale "Beauty and the Beast" will be performed by soloists Judita Butkytė and Tadas Jakas, dancers, and the most important actors of the dolphinarium: dolphins and sea lions.

You will hear famous songs from musicals and will be transported to a village full of joy, music and dolphin dance. An unexpected blizzard will carry you to an enchanted palace, whose residents—turned into sea mammals and objects—must dance and sing. These are the spells of a witch who has enchanted a conceited prince and his friends.

Follow the clock of the fading rose, counting the path of friendship between the beauty and the beast, and witness the liberation from the witch's spell!

Jeanne-Marie Leprince de Beaumont's "Beauty and the Beast" is one of the most famous and beloved fairy tales in the world. It is a story about love, sacrifice and inner beauty, which is more important than external things. The story reminds us of simple truths and fundamental values.

It is a fairy tale about a prince turned into a beast and a sincere girl who manages to fall in love with his inner world. Modesty and a pure heart are ultimately rewarded – goodness and right choices triumph.

Beauty and the Beast teaches empathy and shows that true love does not depend on external beauty, because the greatest beauty lies within a person. This fairy tale tells the story of love, mercy and inner light that can change lives and heal even the deepest heartache.
